A fairly made little bag/washbag in unbleached cotton canvas, sewn by the women in our partner project in Kolkata, India — a project we've visited ourselves.

The women who printed and sewed this washbag have a background in trafficking or extreme poverty.

Here the women get, among other things:
‣ A living wage
‣ A working week with hours that respect family life
‣ Professional development and the chance to move into leadership
‣ Access to pension and health plans
‣ Health education and counselling
‣ Classes in literacy and managing money
‣ Childcare
