Large matchbox: Den blomstertid nu kommer
Large matchbox: Den blomstertid nu kommer
A big, smart and sturdy matchbox with a design on the front and back. The text on the box is Den blomstertid nu kommer — Swedish for "the season of flowers now comes", the first line of a summer hymn that just about everyone in Sweden sings at the end of the school year. With these long matches you'll get lots and lots of candles lit before the match burns out, and they're brilliant for lighting the fire with. For children lighting candles (together with a grown-up, of course) the match feels big and steady, and the risk of burnt little fingers is a bit lower than with ordinary matches.
So pretty left out on the table, or kept ready for a quiet devotional moment.
Size: 6.5 cm x 11.5 cm.
Each box holds around 50 long matches.
The matches are made in Sweden from aspen, and the boxes from 100% recycled card with a semi-matte finish.
Match it with our block candles or napkins, for instance, and you've got a really lovely gift!
